METHOD FOR PRODUCING ABSORBING OIL FOR TREATING COKE GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an absorbing oil for absorbing and removing gas light oil and sulfides in coke gas from coal-based coal tar. SOLUTION: The method is to produce the absorbing oil for treating the coke gas used for absorbing and removing the gas light oil and sulfides in the coke gas by coming into contact with the coke gas produced when coal is carbonized with a coke oven to produce the coke. In the method, the coal- based coal tar is heated and then introduced into a distillation column under 6-27 kPa internal pressure to use the resultant distillate separated at a temperature between 140 and 165°C as the absorbing oil or the distillate from the distillation column is cooled and condensed with a condenser.
