PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision-determining device capable of further surely preventing a malfunction of an occupant protection mechanism caused by an error of at least one of each acceleration signal, in an occupant protection system for a vehicle. SOLUTION: An acceleration detection circuit 20A has the same constitution as that of an acceleration detection circuit 20. A G sensor 21A corresponding to a G sensor 21 is mounted on a circuit board Ca to have a detection direction shown by a code B in a Fig. 10 in an acceleration detecting part 21a. The polarity of a positive part of an acceleration signal SO1 is opposite from that of a pseudo signal P1.
