PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump having excellent pump efficiency by improving an impeller and/or a fuel pump. SOLUTION: A circular part 54 or the like is formed on the outer circumference of the impeller 40 or the like to isolate a blade groove 40 or the like on one side from a blade groove 50 or the like on the other side. An improvement such as the zigzag-formation of a blade groove 166 or the like on one side and a blade groove 171 or the like on the other side, the formation of a guide surface 92a in a communication passage 84 in a pump housing 81, and the formation of a communication hole 176 in an impeller 160 is provided.
