PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an appearance in the vicinity of a sliding door while facilitating sliding-door suspension works, and to use the same sliding-rail assembly at all times without replacing inner rails every sliding door different in width sizes in the suspension structure of the sliding rail type upper-suspension sliding door. SOLUTION: The sliding-rail assembly C is disposed horizontally in the direction that an outer rail 15 and an inner rail 17 are superposed vertically on the upper rail surface (a) of the sliding door A. Mounting grooves 11 are bored on both end sides of the upper rail surface (a) in the sliding door A, and rail receivers 12 with engaging pieces 12a are fitted and installed into the mounting grooves. Then, the inner rail 17 for the sliding-rail assembly C is divided and constituted into two short-sized sliders 23 and 24 having engaging sections 25b engaged with engaging sections 15a for the outer rail 15 on one sides and having guide sections 26b engaged with engaging pieces 12a for the rail receivers 12 on the other sides.
