PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water drainage apparatus of a fuel tank that can simplify a structure, facilitate assembly, be miniaturized, and reduce costs. SOLUTION: The drainage apparatus (8) is equipped with first and second drainage passages (9, 10) communicating with the fuel tank (2). A float member (13) has specific gravity in the middle of the specific gravity of gas oil and that of water and is accommodated into the first drainage passage (9) while the float member (13) can float and move. A seated surface (12c) of the float member (13) is formed at the connection section of respective drainage passages (9, 10). When a drainage opening (7b) communicating with the second drainage passage (10) is opened, water accumulated in the fuel tank (2) is continuously drained from the drainage opening (7b). When water in the fuel tank (2) is used up, fuel in the fuel tank (2) flows into the first drainage passage (9), and the float member (13) floats at the interface between the fuel and water and at the same time lowers toward the second drainage passage (10). The float member (13) is seated onto the seating surface (12c) in the middle of the fall, and the communication holes of the respective drainage passages (9, 10) are blocked.
