PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner excavation device which can enhance the working efficiency of excavation by enabling upsizing while minimizing an increase in weight. SOLUTION: This inner excavation device 1 is equipped with two shells 32 which are turnably supported at the lower end of a main frame 11 and provided in an openably/closable manner, and a hydraulic cylinder 33 which is interposed between the shells 32 and the upper part of the main frame 11 so as to turn the two shells 32 within a fixed angular range; the two hydraulic cylinders 33 per shell 32 are juxtaposed at an interval; and each of the hydraulic cylinders 33 is independently supported by each of the upper part of the main frame 11 and the shells 32.
