PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive sheet accurately and clearly emitting light by friction and impact, facilitating visual observation and being repeatedly usable, because color disappears after emitting light for a definite time. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive sheet comprises (a) a material emitting light by stress, obtained by doping a light-emitting center comprising one or more kinds of rare earths or transition metals emitting light when electrons excited by mechanical energy return in a ground state into an inorganic matrix material or (b) a material emitting light by stress comprising at least one kind of aluminate having a nonstoichiometric composition and having lattice defect emitting light when electrons excited by mechanical energy return in the ground state.
