PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an estradiol conjugate used as a surrogate compound which makes it possible to conduct microanalysis of an estradiol conjugated by glucuronic acid or sulfuric acid with high accuracy and high reliability, and to provide a method for conducting the microanalysis of the estradiol conjugated by the acid, by using the estradiol conjugate as the surrogate compound. SOLUTION: In this estradiol conjugate, at least one of two hydroxy groups in its 3 and 17 positions is protected by the glucuronic acid, the sulfuric acid or a salt thereof, the other hydroxyl group may be formed into a salt, and at least one of carbon atoms in its molecule is substituted with a stable isotope so as to be labeled. The method for conducting the microanalysis of the estradiol conjugated by the glucuronic acid or the sulfuric acid comprises using the estradiol conjugate as the surrogate compound.
