PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically opening and closing a seat panel of a stool is provided to allow the user to conveniently open the seat panel in use by operating a pedal with user's foot. CONSTITUTION: The automatic seat panel opening/closing apparatus comprises an opening/closing piece(14) integrally fastened at one side of the seat, an upper connection rod(10) having a connection loop for enabling it to be fastened to the opening/closing piece and adjustment holes equally arranged in a longitudinal direction, a lower connection rod(9) having adjustment holes and a connection hook for enabling it to be fastened to the upper connection rod, an operating frame(4) rotatively fastened to the connection hook of the lower connection rod, the frame being formed at one side thereof with a vertical fastening hole, and diagonally inclined at the other side thereof, and a rubber cap(7) wrapping a pedal(3) and formed with a push piece(8).
