FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: method involves (i) treatment of polypropylene material with free-radical polymerization initiator; (ii) treatment of polypropylene material with at least one grafting monomer capable of being polymerized owing to free radicals in presence of polymerization rate regulator capable of functioning in essentially inoxidative medium to inhibit polymerization on the surface of particles so that content of polymerized monomer is less on the surface of particles than inside particles; and (iii) removal of any unreacted monomer, degradation of any unreacted initiator, and deactivation of any residual free radicals in the material.
