PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology that enables improvement in accuracy of generating maps.SOLUTION: A map generation device includes: measurement sensors 11 and 12 that irradiate surroundings with a laser to collect measurement data including an angle at which the laser is irradiated, and a distance to a point at which the laser hits; and a map generation unit that generates maps from the measurement data acquired by moving the measurement sensors 11 and 12. On the basis of at least one of a velocity, acceleration, angular velocity and angular acceleration at which the measurement sensors 11 and 12 are moved, the map generation unit is configured to interpolate the measurement data, or control the velocity at which the measurement sensors 11 and 12 are moved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
