PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set wherein observation and photographing operation of an image to be photographed are enabled while direction of a telephone set cabinet is made constant. SOLUTION: Bending flexibility is imparted to an antenna 10 for transmission and reception, a digital camera unit 13 including an photographing lens and an image sensor is attached on a tip of the antenna 10, and direction of an optical axis of the photographing lens is changed by bending the antenna 10. As a result, photographing operation is enabled while an operation part 5 is seen by changing direction of the optical axis of the photographing lens, so that photographing is enabled while a camera subject is confirmed from a liquid crystal panel 4.
