PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a temperature of a unit cell from among temperatures detected at places except the surface of the unit cell. SOLUTION: The thin unit cells C1, C2 are mounted on a positioning plate 21, and a battery pack is constituted by piling them with a similar positioning plate 22. The positioning plates 21, 22 are supported by heat sinks 41, 42, and the heat of the positioning plates 21, 22 is conducted to the heat sinks 41, 42. Temperature sensors 2032 to 2034 are installed at the heat sink 41. A differenceΔBT between the actual unit cell temperature and the detected temperature by the temperature sensors 2032, 2034 is stored beforehand in a memory in a CPU 102 (Figure 1). The CPU 102 (Figure 1) reads the atmospheric temperatures by a cooling air temperature sensor 205 (Figure 1), andΔBT corresponding to a FAN duty from the memory, and the temperature of the unit cell is calculated by using theΔBT and the detected temperatures by the temperature sensors 2032 to 2034.
