PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery and a battery pack in which micro-short circuit or the like occurs hardly when connected in parallel in laminated batteries. SOLUTION: This is a battery pack in which a plurality of batteries are connected by at least one method out of parallel connection, series connection, parallel-series connection, or series-parallel connection. The battery uses for its battery outer case material a polymer metal-composite laminate film and houses a generating element in which a positive electrode plate, a separator, and a negative electrode plate are laminated or wound (so-called laminated battery).
