<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car width indication method wherein a driver easily recognizes right and left positions of the vehicle against a road. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of mechanisms is constituted by combining a light source mounted at a position capable of illuminating a front side such as a front side, a side surface, a driver's seat or the like of the automobile with a device capable of adjusting it from the driver's seat and strongly and clearly illuminates a point at the front side of the automobile. It becomes possible that a right and left position relationship of the automobile on the road by a position of the light point.
