PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a variation is large at focusing and pictures apparently looking like an out-of-focus are obtained by some kinds of light sources for imaging, after focusing. SOLUTION: A striped chart with color which uses two kinds of specific colors and has stripes arrayed, of which adjacent stripes have colors different from each other, is placed at a prescribed distance from a camera and is illuminated by a light source having spectral characteristics only for a visible light area, and the camera is so focused that levels of image signals corresponding to stripe parts of the striped chart with color may take peak values and the striped chart with color may be projected as the clearest image.
