PURPOSE: A method and a system for testing a web application are provided to automatically search and check various kinds of links and objects existing on each page of the web application in order to make a perfect web application. CONSTITUTION: A web server(30) executes the web application(31) requested from a client(200) by reading a source stored in a disk as a file form, and transfers a result to the client. The web application includes a web browser(240) in order to display the web application result transmitted from the web server through a screen. A web application tester(210) performs the test by following the link of the web page from the lowest to the highest web page of an object test site.
