PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous polyolefin resin article having enhanced adhesiveness of a surface of a base material thereby firmly covering the base material of an amorphous polyolefin resin with a functional thin film, and also provide a production method of the amorphous polyolefin resin article covered with the functional thin film imparting wear-resistance, antireflective function, antiglare property, water repellency, hydrophilicity, stain resistance or the like. SOLUTION: The surface of the base material of the amorphous polyolefin resin is subjected to hydrophilization treatment, and then liquid for surface modification is applied onto the hydrophilized surface and cured, thus the amorphous polyolefin resin article covered with a modified surface layer is formed. Further, hard coat liquid containing colloidal silica and an organo-silicon compound can be applied onto the modified surface and cured to from a hard coat layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
