PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance-measuring equipment shortening the calculation time without lowering distance measurement precision. SOLUTION: When correlation calculation is conducted by shifting two image signals at specified steps, the step number is set at different values in the correlation calculation processing between a distance range where a precision of the step number is required and the other distance range.
