FIELD: plastic metal working; possibly, production of axial diagonal articles like wheels with blades for gas-turbine engines, gas-turbine plants, turborefrigerating plants and other similar articles. SUBSTANCE: method incorporates steps of preliminary forming billet in upper and lower dies of press with pusher, further forming billet with straight blades and shaping article under isometric conditions. For axial diagonal article like wheel with twisted blades and interblade surface having larger and smaller diameters, preliminary forming of billets is carried out by means of joining upper and lower dies. Die with punch is used as lower die. Forming of billet with straight blades is carried out by means of movement of this punch upward using press pusher as its drive; during final forming of article straight blades are successively subject to curling by means of fixation of billet with straight blades with location of point on smaller diameter of its interblade surface in lower position, and location of point on larger diameter of its interblade surface in upper position; support assembly is placed below blade on side of larger diameter of billet; blade is heated on side of suction face up to 700 ± 10 C; then deforming cradle is introduced on side of smaller diameter of billet with its movement in horizontal plane on a radius up to the stop and blade is thermally fixed within 1-2 minutes.
