摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the color developability, flow properties, blocking resistance, and offset resistance of electrophotographic charge image developing toner particles. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic charge image developing toner is obtained by suspension polymerization of a monomer composition composed of at least a polymerizable monomer and coloring matter and contains, as a compound containing active hydrogen atoms, a urethane compound using at least one kind selected from a multifunctional compound having a plurality of the active hydrogen atoms and a compound derived from this multifunctional compound and having at least one active hydrogen atom. The hydrogen atom-containing compound may contain an aromatic ring and reactive double bonds and may also contain polyester polyol. Also, the urethane compound may contain a hydrophilic or water dispersible urethane compound. The polymerizable monomer may be a styrene-based monomer and/or acrylic monomer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
