PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an amine compound of the general formula(4) without using any reaction reagents which are toxic, highly irritant and highly corrosive, etc. SOLUTION: The method for producing the amine compound of the general formula(4) comprises carrying out a reaction between a diamine of the general formula(1) and a carbonyl compound of the general formula(2) to form an imino compound of the general formula(3) as a new compound and then reducing the imino compound.
