PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hull of a small planing boat improved in strength and reduced in manufacturing cost and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This hull 11 of the small planing boat is provided with an external wall solidified by spraying resin and reinforcing fibers while mixing them, a boxlike member, and the internal wall of the full forming a hollow chamber. The manufacturing method for the hull 11 comprises a process for manufacturing the external wall 43 of the hull by spraying resin and reinforcing fibers into a mold and solidifying them, a process in which the boxlike member 25 is added to the predetermined section of the external wall, and a process in which resin and reinforcing fibers are sprayed on the boxlike member and the external wall and are solidified to fix the boxlike member to the external wall integrally and form the hollow chamber 25a, thereby increasing the strength of the hollow chamber. The process for manufacturing the external wall of the hull and the process for fixing the boxlike member to the external wall integrally to form the hollow chamber are continuously performed in the same place to save a time and labor for conveying the external wall, shorten a manufacturing time, and reduce a manufacturing cost.
