PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved reach forklift truck that can reduce the width of passage. SOLUTION: A battery for power supply to various driving means for the reach forklift truck is divided into two battery sections, which are each housed in a battery trough 40, 42. The battery troughs 40 and 42 are each supported on a wheel arm 22, 24 and by the wheel arm 22, 24. The positioning of the battery not in a cab part but on the wheel arms can substantially reduce the cab part.
