PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate noise or vibration, even if the power of a high-output motor is transmitted, with high efficiency over a wide range of operation range, and to cope with power transmission of motor driving in energy regeneration or reverse rotation. SOLUTION: A wedge roller type transmission A is integrally assembled to a motor generator X. A high-speed shaft 17 is integrally configured as a drive shaft of the motor generator X. When the motor generator X drives as a motor, the wedge roller type transmission A acts as a transmission, when a low-speed side shaft 3 can transmit power to a wheel, etc. as an output shaft. If the motor generator X acts as a generator, the wedge roller type transmission A acts as a speed-increasing unit, when the low-speed side shaft 3 is revolved by an external drive force so that the motor generator X generates power.
