PURPOSE: A toy moving up/downward having a sensor-sensitive ability and a method for moving the same are provided to help achievement performance and sentiment development of babies by conducting up/down movement of the toy till the baby approaches the toy N times and by stopping movement of the toy when the baby approaches the toy N+1 times. CONSTITUTION: The toy comprises an input part(10) for inputting numbers of movement; a display device(20) for expressing status and emotional condition according to signals output from a central processing device(60); a sensor fusion array part(40) having an infrared ray sensor, a supersonic sensor and a magnetic sensor; a sensor connection circuit(30) to transfer data to the central processing device(60); a contact sensing device(50); a driving circuit part(70) and a sound part(80) depending on output data from the central processing device(60); the central processing device(60) connected to all of the input part(10), the display device(20), the sensor connection circuit(30), the contact sensing device(50), the driving circuit part(70) and the sound part(80).
