PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple means for providing magnetic attractableness for a casting type fastener assembly. SOLUTION: A fastening component of a disengageable fastener has parts required for the fastening function, for example, a hook, a base part for installing the hook or a base board used for the other purpose, and is composed of a magnetic attraction element. The other part of the fastening component is composed of a magnetically inactive element. A fastening element may be a hook part or a loop part of a typical fastener. The fastening element and the base part may be integrated or may be composed of a different precursor such as a case in a woven fastener component. The magnetically inactive element can have high polymer plastic or thermoplastic elastomer. A magnetic attractor may be impregnated into the magnetically inactive element. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
