PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-manufacture synchronous system with a compact structure, facilitating movement of a shift sleeve. SOLUTION: This synchronous system for a manual transmission has a gear 12, the shift sleeve 14 and several thrusters 26. The shift sleeve 14 displaceably meshes with the gear 12 by internal teeth 16. Each the thruster 26 has a pot-like casing 32 and a spring 34. The casing 32 is installed in an axial groove 24 of the gear 12. The spring 34 generates thrust toward the internal teeth 16 of the shift sleeve 14 to press a pressure member 28 onto the internal teeth 16. In the synchronous system, the casing 32 of the thruster 26 is tiltably supported in a bottom part of the groove 24 of the gear 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
