PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panorama imaging technology in which joining can be carried out easily and accurately by inclining a boundary line depending on the content of an image picked up already. SOLUTION: The panorama imaging apparatus comprises a means for taking in an image, a means for storing the image thus taken in, a screen for displaying the image, and a means for correcting a shift at the boundary line part of an image picked up already and an image joined thereto later. The panorama imaging apparatus displays an image picked up already on the display screen fixedly and can incline the boundary line of the image picked up already on the display screen depending on an image being picked up when the image being picked up is displayed on the boundary line of the image picked up already and joined thereto.
