PURPOSE: A system for detecting and displaying automatically disaster warning signals is provided to reduce a cost and simplify a structure by exchanging a software mounted in a digital television or a color television. CONSTITUTION: A system for detecting and displaying automatically disaster warning signals includes a decoder(60) and a control unit(70). The decoder(60) and the control unit(70) are used for detecting a warning broadcasting start signal from video signals of analog broadcasting when the standby power is applied to a television and the video signals of the analog broadcasting are transmitted to the television. In addition, the decoder(60) and the control unit(70) are used for detecting the warning broadcasting start data from auxiliary signals of digital broadcasting when the standby power is applied to the television and the auxiliary signals of the digital broadcasting are transmitted to the television.
