PURPOSE: An isolator having the amplified relative displacement is provided to improve the damping efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The isolator having the amplified relative displacement contains: a damper(24) connected with a horizontal displacement member(40) to generate the damping force in proportion to the relative displacement generated by pulling or advancing the horizontal displacement member(40); an auxiliary horizontal member(30) installed parallel to the damper(24) and the horizontal displacement member(40); a pair of connectors(36) whose one ends are connected to both ends of the auxiliary horizontal member(30) rotatively and the other ends are connected to both horizontal displacement members(40) rotatively to connect the auxiliary horizontal member(30) and both horizontal displacement member(40) and provided with a long hole(34); and a fixed bracket(42) whose one end is connected to rotate and move along the long hole(34) of the connector(36) and the other end is connected to a structure.
