PURPOSE: A digital X-ray detector is provided to be capable of improving S/N(signal to noise) ratio for an excellent reliability. CONSTITUTION: A digital X-ray detector is provided with a transparent substrate, a plurality of gate lines(31) and data lines(33) formed across with each other on the transparent substrate, a TFT(Thin Film Transistor)(40) formed at the cross portion of the gate and date line, a storage capacitor and a pixel electrode formed in a pixel region defined by the gate and data line, a photo conductive layer formed on the entire surface of the resultant structure, and an upper electrode formed on the photo conductive layer. At this time, the TFT includes a gate electrode(31a) protruded from the gate line, a drain electrode(33a) protruded from the data line for being overlapped with one side of the gate electrode, and a source electrode(35) spaced apart from the drain electrode for being overlapped with the other side of the gate electrode.
