PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber laser device sufficiently practically suitable as e.g. a light source or the like of a projection video display device by efficiently supplying each emission light from a plurality of semiconductor laser elements to an optical fiber and made obtainable a high light output. SOLUTION: In the fiber laser device making each emission light from the plurality of the semiconductor laser elements 101, 105 and 107 incident on the optical fiber 104, the slow axial directions of respective emission lights from the plurality of the semiconductor laser element 101, 105 and 107 are made substantially parallel, and made incident on the optical fiber 104 at an angle different from a light axis in a fast axial direction.
