Disclosed is an electromagnetic clutch (19) for torque transmission comprising a first half-clutch (7) with end teeth (9), a second half-clutch (2) with end teeth (3), the end teeth (7) of the second half-clutch (2) facing the end teeth (9) of the first half-clutch (7), an annular electromagnet (13) with an U-shaped axial section so that it comprises an outer annular pole, an inner annular pole and an internal cavity between them, wherein the annular electromagnet is mounted coaxially with the second half-clutch (2) so that its end teeth (3) are directed oppositely to the electromagnet, and the named internal cavity of the annular electromagnet (13) accommodates a control winding (14) designed to receive direct current for detachable engagement of the end teeth (9) of the first half-clutch (7) with the end teeth (3) of the second half-clutch (2), the outer diameter of the second half-clutch (2) is smaller than the inner diameter of the annular electromagnet, the outer diameter of the second half-clutch (2) is smaller than the inner diameter of the outer annular pole of the electromagnet (13), the outer annular pole being located, at least partially, opposite to the first half-clutch (7) along the axis of the first half-clutch (7) and the second half-clutch (2); and a control drive comprising the electromagnetic clutch. |
