PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state electrolytic capacitor which can attain desired electrostatic capacitance even after a size and a thickness are reduced. SOLUTION: The solid-state electrolytic capacitor comprises a capacitor element 1 including a cathode layer formed to a first end surface 7, a first side surface 8, a side surface opposing the first side surface 8, a second side surface 9, and a side surface opposing the second side surface 9 and an anode lead wire 4 projected from the second end surface opposing the first end surface 7, a cathode terminal 2 electrically connected to the cathode layer, an anode terminal 6 electrically connected to the anode lead wire 4, and an armoring resin 5 for externally armoring the capacitor element 1, the anode terminal 6 and the cathode terminal 2. A connecting portion of the cathode layer and anode terminal 2 is formed on the first side surface 8 almost perpendicular to the substrate mounting surface and the side surface opposing the first side surface 8 among the first end surface 7 and side surface of the capacitor element 1.
