PURPOSE: A flat type motor is provided to reduce the length and the diameter of the motor by arranging a magnet at a top part of a rotor and arranging a brush at a bottom side of the rotor. CONSTITUTION: A flat type motor includes a case(4), a rotary shaft(12), a rotor(8), a PCB(20), a brush(22), and a magnet(10). The case(4) is installed on an upper surface of a base bracket(2). The rotary shaft is installed vertically to a center of the case. The rotary shaft is rotatably supported by the case and the base bracket. The rotor(8) is fixed on an outer circumference of the rotary shaft. A coil is wound around the rotor. The PCB(20) is adhered on a bottom side of the rotor. The brush(22) is close to the PCB. The magnet(10) is fixed on an inner circumference of a top side of the case.
