PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image information management system using a radiation detection cassette which can save an engineer (a user) from the complicated working. SOLUTION: The image information management system has a studio 50 where an order information receiving terminal unit 21, a sensor 22, a transmitting means 23, and a receiving means 24 are positioned, wherein the sensor 22 detects the entering of a radiation detection cassette 10 into a specific zone in the studio, and transmits automatically an order information received from an order information management system 20 wirelessly via the transmitting means 23 to the radiation detection cassette 10, and after taking a photograph, the receiving means 24 receives automatically the order information and a picture signal transmitted wirelessly from the radiation detection cassette 10.
