PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector in which the operability of a push button part with elasticity becomes excellent and sure and the cost of which is reduced by reducing the number of parts and the outward appearance of which is improved. SOLUTION: The detector is constituted of a base block 2 housed and installed in an outer shell case 1, a detecting part 3 on the base block 2, and the push button part 4 for switch operation on the right side of the outer shell case 1. In the detector, a resilient piece 5 is formed integrally with the base block 2 formed of a synthetic resin molding and is extended form the base block 2, the push button part 4 is provided in the resilient piece 5, and the push button part 4 is projected freely movably forward and backward from an opening 6 for switch formed in the outer shell case 1.
