PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC type static eliminator which can separately and, simply control the amount of ions generated by each discharge electrode and attracted to a ground electrode, for each discharge electrode. SOLUTION: The relative distance between a discharge electrode 2 and a ground electrode 3 separately installed in front of a body casing 1 is fixed, and the amount of ions generated by the discharge electrode 2 and attracted to the ground electrode 3 is controlled with an insulator member 4 surrounding the discharge electrode 2.
