PURPOSE: Provided is an organic photo conductor having improved photoelectric properties. An electro-photographic imaging device and method using the organic photo conductor are also provided to obtain excellent toner image. CONSTITUTION: The organic photo conductor comprises: (a) a conductive support; and (b) a photoconductive element formed on the conductive support and comprising a charge-generating compound and a salt of electron-transporting compound. The electro-photographic imaging device comprises: (a) photo-imaging components; and (b) the organic photoconductor that receives light from the photo-imaging components. Further, the electro-photographic method comprises the steps of: (a) applying charges to the surface of the organic photo conductor(OPC); (b) exposing image-wise the surface of the OPC and patterning the surface; (c) contacting the surface with a toner to form a toned image; and (d) transferring the toned image to a substrate.
