METHOD FOR MAKING POLYMER GRIN(GRADIENT INDEX) LENS

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for making a polymer GRIN(Gradient Index) lens, which uses a hollow cavity-protective reactor to control the refraction index easily and to improve the transparency. CONSTITUTION: The method for making a polymer GRIN lens comprises the steps of: supplying a charge to a hollow cavity-protective reactor and polymerizing the charge by rotating the hollow cavity-protective reactor to form a rod for a polymer GRIN lens; and cutting the rod into a size of 0.01-60 mm, and aging the cut rod at a temperature of 60-100 deg.C for 10-48 hours to improve the transparency. The hollow cavity-protective reactor comprises an introduction part(10) for introducing the charge into the reactor, a reaction part(20) separated from the introduction part(10) by a barrier(32), and at least one hollow cavity-protective structure(30).
