PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent gas from being dissolved again into ink stored in an ink storing section when ink subjedted to degasification through a degasifier is stored temporarily in the ink storing section and a negative pressure is applied to the ink in a nozzle utilizing the difference of head between the ink storing section and the nozzle. SOLUTION: An ink storing section 6 is provided in an ink channel between a degasifier 5 for removing gas dissolved into ink being supplied to an ink jet head 2 and the ink jet head 2, and a body 9 floating on the surface of the ink and blocking contact of the ink and air is provided in the ink storing section 6.
