COLLISION-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION OF SHIP WITH DOUBLE PLATING

FIELD: shipbuilding; building ships with double plating. ^ SUBSTANCE: ship has outer and inner platings and some passages made from plastic material and located near each other or above each other. Edges of side walls of passages are secured to inner surface of outer plating. Base of each passage is connected to inner plating or to structural member perpendicular to it by means of stringer perpendicular to base. Bases of successive passages may be interconnected by means of strips or stringers. Side walls of passages directed to inner surface of outer plating may form angle alpha with outer plating which is lesser than 90 deg. Passages may be also formed on inner surface of inner plating. These passages may b secured to inner surface by edges of side walls. Stringers may extend between passages formed on outer plating and passages formed on inner plating. Passages of each row may be interconnected for forming corrugated plate. ^ EFFECT: enhanced resistance to explosion and impact. ^ 6 cl, 5 dwg
