PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter replacing method whereby filter replacing work can be safely performed in a short time. SOLUTION: The filter 10 is provided with a central part 10a, a tip end part 10b, and a rear end part 10c; and is formed in a trapezoidal cap having no base. The filter 10 is inserted into a filter attachment part 13 of a blower 2 in a state that the tip end part 10b and the rear end part 10c are tilted downward. At that time, a fan 4 of the blower 2 is rotated and driven by a motor 5 in advance, and the internal air flowing into the upstream side of the fan 4 is in the sucked state. When the filter 10 having the tip end part 10b which is inserted through an insertion hole 8 enters the suction area, the tip end part 10b is tilted to the fan 4 side from the central part 10a, and thereby the filter 10 approaches to the fan 4 side simultaneously with being pulled into the insertion direction by the tip end part 10b.
