PURPOSE: A method for displaying remaining battery capacity of a mobile terminal is provided to prevent a rapid change in battery display bars and remove shaking phenomenon by displaying values having suitable compensation and reliability. CONSTITUTION: An adc(voltage/current) value is read(201) and the read adc value is compared with a previous value(202,203). If the same value as the previous value is received, it is applied and electronic bars are displayed(206). If a smaller value than the previous value is received and the previous adc value is greater by 1 than the current adc value, it is applied as it is, and if the previous value is greater by 2 or more than the current adc value, a compensation algorithm is applied(205) and remaining battery capacity is displayed(206).
