PURPOSE: A driving apparatus of a liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to improve the horizontal cross-talk by compensating the swing of the gate low signal supplied to the gate lines. CONSTITUTION: A driving apparatus of a liquid crystal display device includes a liquid panel(31), a plurality of a gate tape carrier packages(TCPs)(44A,44B,44C,44D), a plurality of data TCPs(38), a plurality of gate signal lines(VGLL1 - VGLL4) and a timing controller(39). The liquid panel(31) is provided with a plurality of liquid crystal cells formed on the cross-sectional regions between the gate lines and the data lines. The plurality of a gate TCPs(44A,44B,44C,44D) provided with a gate integrated circuit drives the gate liens. The data TCPs(38) provided with a data integrated circuit drives the data lines. The plurality of gate signal lines(VGLL1 - VGLL4) which is formed on the substrate of the liquid crystal panel supplies the gate driving signals to the gate integrated circuit. And, the timing controller(39) supplies the control signal having a different polarity to the divided groups of the plurality of data integrated circuits as well as supplies the gate driving signal to the gate signal lines.
