PURPOSE: Provided is a composition of crystal rhinestone having diverse colors, high transparency and high relexibility as natural jewelry by mixing glass mixture with metal oxides as coloring agents. CONSTITUTION: The crystal rhinestone composition comprises glass components composed of SiO2(quartz or sand containing 0.2-0.3wt.% of impurities), PbO, K2O, Na2O, BaO, ZnO, and optionally Al2O3, F and B2O3 for increase of resistance against acids and water, and 0.1-20wt.%(based on total composition) of oxides of metals such as transition metals(Fe, Ni, Cr, Cu and Co), rare earth metals(Cs, Nd and Sm), precious metals(Ag, Au and Pt), and other metals(Ce, Cd and V). The blue-colored rhinestone composition comprises glass materials containing 48.3wt.% of SiO2, 35.6wt.% of PbO, 7.2wt.% of K2O, 0.9wt.% of Na2O, 3.3wt.% of CaO and 1.8wt.% of B2O2, and metal oxides containing 0.2wt.% of CoO, 0.3wt.% of CuO, 1.9wt.% of ZnO and 0.5wt.% of As2O3. The pink-colored rhinestone composition comprises glass materials containing 68.3wt.% of SiO2, 12.0wt.% of K2O, 6.0wt.% of Na2O, and metal oxides containing 4.5wt.% of ZnO, 4wt.% of BaO, and 5.2wt.% of Er2O3.
