PURPOSE: A bimodal microstructure of (α+β) Ti alloy is provided which is capable of improving mechanical properties and bulletproofing property by over-aging bimodal microstructure of Ti-6Al-4V alloy for a long period of time, thereby precipitating α2(Ti3Al) phase. CONSTITUTION: The (α+β) Ti alloy with bimodal microstructure is characterized in that it is formed of α phase, α2 precipitation phase and tempered martensite by obtaining bimodal microstructure of (α+β) Ti alloy through solution treatment and aging and over-aging the bimodal microstructure of (α+β) Ti alloy for a long period of time, thereby precipitating α2(Ti3Al) phase, wherein the over-aging is performed in the temperature range of 530 to 560 deg.C for 100 to 400 hours, and wherein the α2(Ti3Al) precipitation phase having a size of 80 to 250 nm is uniformly precipitated in the α phase by performing the over-aging in the temperature range of 540 to 550 deg.C at an inert gas atmosphere for 200 to 300 hours.
