PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing for producing efficiently and continuously a polymer sheet having such excellent characteristics of an optical polymer sheet of a substrate for use in a liquid crystal display element as having neither warpage nor undulation, and an excellent surface smoothness and also having both satisfactory strength and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a plastic sheet for use in a display element comprises the steps of coating a transfer base material with a curable resin composition, laminating this onto a base sheet, carrying out a curing reaction, releasing the transfer base material from the cured resin composition at the time of 1-50% reactivity found out from the absorption peak at an FT-IR spectrum and then moreover curing.
