摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material which enables to obtain a nonaqueous lithium ion secondary battery having a high charging/discharging capacity and an excellent cycle property. SOLUTION: The negative electrode material contains a carbonaceous material, a graphite material and at least one kind of fine nano-metallic particles selected from a group composed of Ag, Zn, Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge, Sn and Pb with average particle diameter of not smaller than 10 nm and not larger than 200 nm, and contains the fine nano-metallic particles by not less than 3 wt% and not more than 20 wt% to the total weight of the carbonaceous material, the graphite material, and the fine nano-metallic particles.
